Andis Groza is a graduate of the Jazeps Vitols Music Academy of Latvia, Department of Voice, obtaining his bachelor's degree in 2006; the Department of Choir Conducting, obtaining his master's degree in music in 2012, and a graduate of the University of Latvia, obtaining a master's degree in Physics in 2004.
He began singing in the choir „Sonore” during preparations for the XXII Latvian Song and XII Dance Festival, which took place in 1998, but since 2003, he is a conductor of the choir "Sonore". From 2001 to 2008, he was the conductor of the Latvian Association for the Blind "Strazdumuiza" Club mixed choir "Jolanta". Since 2006, he is the conductor of the Kuldīga chamber choir "Rāte".
